The Board of Directors has completed work on the NSITSP Vision, Mission, and Values. (Those will be presented for discussion at the all-member meeting February 9th.)
The next big task is to settle on a model Code of Ethics. We are creating a taskforce and looking for five to ten more people to serve. If this is something of interest to you, please fill out this form.
The final application date is January 28th.
This volunteer opportunity is estimated to be at least two to four hours a month in meetings and working on workgroup matters.
Note: All workgroup members must be current Professional Members of the NSITSP. (If you’re not, you can join right now, or at least start the process today.)
There is a draft Code of Ethics on the “About” page , but it’s just mine, as reported in the “Nine Pillars” document. I sincerely believe and stand behind the document, but the Society needs to develop it’s own, consistent with its Vision, Mission, and Values.
