I’m Michael Wayland, I’m the owner of Byte-Werx. We’re a Digital/Remote focused MSP with employees in 3 states and clients in 10. I’ve been active in the MSP community for about 5 or 6 years now and like taking a forward looking role in where I believe our industry is headed. I believe we need to be the ones helping to shape the legislature and the discussions around our industry otherwise we’ll be dictated to by people who don’t understand it. I’m personally headquartered out of Bentonville Arkansas right now but our primary client base is in Texas.

Hello, David Phillips here. I am the owner of St. Louis IT Solutions. I so happy to see this group forming. I belong to a batch of peer groups and there is a level of professionalism within those organizations (TTT, ASCII, Etc.), however it amazes me to see how many people simply “hang up a shingle” and call themselves Consultants, MSPs, etc.

I am glad to see others feel the same way and are willing to help a level of professionalism to the industry. If there is anything I can do to help elevate this group and our professions, please don’t hesitate to reach out!

I co-founded one of the first MSPs in the industry and created the MSP Mastered methodology for managed services business transformation. As a technology business and channel growth expert, influencer, thought leader, speaker and author I’ve written 4 best-selling books and over 50 white papers and co-host the ChannelPro 5 Minute Roundup Podcast. I’ve been recognized as Channel Futures’ 7 Thought Leaders Defining the MSP Market and listed as one of Jay Mcbain’s 100 Most Visible Channel Leaders, a 2 Time ChannelPro 20/20 Visionary, 2 Time MSP Mentor 250 and an SMB Nation SMB 150 award recipient. I consult with ITSPs, MSPs, CSPs, MSSPs to improve their business performance and channel vendors and distributors to improve their channel program performance.

Hi! Excited to be part of this.

I’ve run an MSSP since 2002 and have be consulting with MSPs around compliance for the last 5 or so years,

I have worked in the fed gov space for 15+ years with a strong focus on RMFs. The NIST SP series has been the “backbone” of my daily work, from 800-53, 171 and the upcoming CMMC.

I’ve had the pleasure of consulting with many IS/MSPs over the years helping them to understand the complexity of compliance and RMFs and recently launched TCG to help our fellow IT professionals and MSPs

Looking forward to helping our community..rising tides and all..
